Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency shares insights on the future of autonomous vehicles

Ohmio were fortunate to have Delaney Myers and Lee McKenzie from Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency visit our vehicle at the ITS NZ T-Tech.

Delaney and Lee share their thoughts on the experience below.

“In this short clip my colleague Lee McKenzie and I share our thoughts on the Ohmio autonomous shuttle. This is NZ technology, and it's real, now. The potential applications are significant. In particular I'm thinking about how we cater for people that can't, (or don't want to), walk through our increasingly pedestrianised urban areas, and bringing people into PT hubs. What do you think?
I'm also keen to hear from Councils that might be interested in exploring this further.”
